Do not be afraid to throw them in the wash; they will only get softer.

Why Egyptian Cotton Is The Best

As the highest quality cotton available anywhere in the world, it is the obvious choice for infusing your home with high-class sophistication and elegance. Thanks to the unique climate of the fertile Nile delta, Egyptian cotton has developed a longer fibre staple — and with extra length comes greater durability and higher quality. The finer yarn means your cotton is gloriously soft to the touch, and only gets more luxurious as the thread count increases.

All Egyptian cotton is delicately hand-picked. This process puts less stress on the fibre than large machinery, keeping its exquisite softness and incomparable strength. Its superior absorbency lets it hold a dye like no other cotton, so colours stay deep and vibrant wash after wash. Egyptian cotton should never be washed with fabric conditioner – it destroys the strong fibres that make it so soft and durable.

Types of Sheets

• Flat Sheet — a sheet that covers the mattress without an elastic band at the corners.
• Fitted Sheet — a sheet that covers the mattress with an elastic band at the four corners.
• Duvet Cover — a protective sleeve for a duvet that lets you change your bedding look.

Thread Count

Thread count is the number of threads woven together in a square inch (10 square cm) of fabric. As the count rises, fabric becomes softer, denser and warmer. A higher thread count does not automatically mean higher quality — counts advertised in excess of 500 are often misrepresented by counting each ply within a thread.

Our Two Weaves

Percale is a traditional one-yarn-over, one-yarn-under weave with a matte finish and crisp hand-feel. It is lighter and more breathable — perfect for warmer sleepers — incredibly soft and durable, and gets better with every wash without pilling.

Sateen is a one-yarn-under, three-yarn-over weave that creates a silky-smooth surface with a luminous sheen, known for its gloss and drape. It is a little thicker and more tightly woven, with a soft inviting touch — perfect to snuggle into all year round.
